Kill La Kill Episode 8: “I Will Wipe My Own Tears"

Right off the bat this episode starts off with a bang, with a whole school free for all for 7 days, everyone and anyone is a target (who has a uniform). Some people have better protection them others (Satsuki Kiryuin). In no time the whole city is a war zone.

Ryuko takes this time to go back her house, to find answers. We get a flash back of how Ryuko father die and how she gets her scissor blade. They did not find anything and when back home. On their way back home they get into scooter trouble and meet Gamagoori and his new car. He gives Ryuko and Mako a ride to a gas station, but they get attacked by the automotive airsoft club. This is where we get tease about a 2^nd transformation and we get a flash back of Gamagoori and Satsuki. Gamagoori beat the club and gets Ryuko and Mako to a gas station.

Skip 7 days later and Satuki tells everyone that there will be 5 pillars and whoever gets to the top has a chance to beat her. Ryuko run up one easily and see that The Elite Fours got on each other pillar. Then we learn that Ryuko has to fight each one in a one on one fight starting with Gamagoori.

Awesomeness can’t wait for the next episode, will Ryuko have what it takes to beat Gamagoori and will she also have a 2^nd transformation, if so what will be the cost to get to this next level? More blood? less cloth?

Kill La Kill Episode 7: “A Loser I Can’t Hate”

This episode was OK, with a great ending; this summary will be short too.

The episode starts off with Ryuko and Mako family eating dinner together.  Ryuko is happy to have a family to eat dinner with, because in the pass she always ate alone.

I don't think girls would sit like that. 

Skip to school, Ryuko is attacked by 3 club leaders and learn that if they beat more club leaders(or Ryuko) they go up in the schools ranks and live a better life. So Ryuko and Mako start a fight club and start beating up all of the schools club leaders. Life gets better with each fight. Mako and her family start to slowly drifting away. Ryuko noticed she was eating all alone again.

The next day Mako is in front of the Elite Four. Once Ryuko beat this next club leader they will be a part of the Elite Four. Once Ryuko makes it to the field, Ryuko tells Mako that she quits the club. This is where Satsuki tells, Mako to beat Ryuko and you will keep your new lifestyle and gives her a 2 star suit. Mako puts on the suit and goes all out against Ryuko. Ryuko did not fight back, because Mako is her friend. In the end Mako pick Ryuko over the better lifestyle.

In the end some people you can’t control with wealth and money. Things went back to normal very quickly.

On to episode 8 and i really cant wait for it. I truly believe that this episode will be awesome and shocking.

Anime Recommendations: Golden Boy

For the month of November, I am going to recommend Golden Boy, a classic anime that I just watch recently and I enjoy it a lot. It is one of the funniest anime I have watched in a long time.

The story is focus on Kintarou Oe that travels around japan doing odd jobs. Each episode Kintarou has a new job in a new area, with a new love interest. The love interest is the best part of the show, because he is a perv at heart and always has funny results.

Personal I like this animation style. It’s very nostalgia too me. Kintarou is a good character, very enjoyable. The only problem I had with this show is its only 6 episodes long. I really want more of Golden boy, so i will be checking out the manga. The manga has 9 volumes. you can not buy the manga anywhere.

Kill La Kill Episode 6: Don’t Toy Me On a Whim

Another great episode of Kill la Kill, with the main focus on one of the Elite Four. Mako only got like 20 seconds of time this episode too.

The episode starts off with Ryuko trying to get information from Mikisugi, because he knows who Kinagase is. He tells Ryuko that he is a nudist beach that is the name of the organization. Ryuko does not believe him and leaves.

We get some information that Satsuki has order more life fibres and has been making more uniforms.  We get a glimpse of her mother. We also get a flash back of Satsuki 3 years ago before she took over the Honnouji Academy and the Elite Four was the team that help her take over the school. This was my favourite part of the episode and I hope we get more information on how Satsuki takes over the academy.

The main focus of this episode was on Uzu Sanageyama. He asks Satsuki if he could challenge Ryuko, she said “yes”. The next day Uzu goes head to head with Ryuko and Ryuko owns him, pretty easily too. Ryuko got a big piece of Life Fiber. Uzu after facing this lost, he knew why he lost and fixes this weakness. This was very cool. Uzu ask Satsuki if he can fight Ryuko again, she said “yes”. We go to fight number 2 where Uzu beat Ryuko so badly, and the only way Ryuko got away was because of Uzu Goku’s uniform could not keep up with Uzu new found strength and overheated.

Ryuko now with this lost, Ryuko decides to find out what was her dad researching and that is how the episodes end. the fights very well done and i like Uzu Goku's uniform. They made this Uzu character very interesting and one of my favorite characters so far.

Kill La Kill Episode 5: Trigger

There are two useful pieces of information you need to know about Mako.

One: she will always take a beating

Two: she will always has a speech in each episode.

I like this episode, we got a lot of information and we finally meet that guy from the opening. The episode starts off with Tsumugu Kinagase coming to Honnouji Academy to take out Senketsu. Once Kinagase makes it to the school he has to fight a two star Goku uniform and he beat it pretty easy. Kinagase uses a sewing gun that fires needles that slow down Goku uniform.

Ryuko at this time is save Mako again from another club we see that Ryuko is beating these guys pretty easily and she is getting stronger with each fight. This is where Kinagase attack Ryuko and Mako. He freezes Mako so she won’t get hurt and beat Ryuko. The only reason why he stops his attack is because of the homeroom teacher. Kinagase tell Ryuko he will be backing tomorrow form the suit.

Kinagase meets with the homeroom teacher and we learn that he is a nudist (I’m guessing its group of people that don’t want to use the life fibers). He does not use a goku uniform. He lost someone to the goku uniform and does not trust them ever since.

This is the first time one of the four elites will be trying to take out Kinagase and Ryuko. She sends out 3 clubs to take them out.  This leads to an all-out fight with Ryuko taking a beating, mostly because of Kinagase. The episode really gets good once Kinagase pushes Ryuko too her limit and get her into a corner. Senketsu tries to protect Ryuko and because of this, he changes Kinagase mind and save the day. We see Ryuko and Senketsu bond getting stronger. We also see Kinagase leaving. We all know he will come back, we just don’t know when. I’m guessing episode 8.

This got me thinking, do you think we will get a Gurren Lagann Episode 8 in Kill La kill. it would be awesome if they do something crazy in episode 8 and whatever anime they are working on they always make episode 8 something crazy and memorable.

Kill La Kill Episode 4: Dawn of Miserable Morning

This was a very fun episode of Kill La Kill. The animation could have been better and very weird at times, but it worked. This episode is very simple Ryuko and Mako has to get to their homeroom class before 8:30 or else they are expelled. The only problem is that the whole town is full of traps, slowing down all of the students.

The episode starts off with Senketsu getting clean and it looks like he is in pain, for the most part. Ryuko has to go to school without Senketsu.  Once Senketsu is clean Mako’s dad, brother and dog will bring it to Ryuko.

Ryuko and Mako as they are making their way through the town they meet Maiko, a girl that is hurt and wants to get to school too. Maiko joins Ryuko and Mako as they try to get to school. They become friends, until Maiko reveals her true motives.  When Maiko does, this we learn two things Senketsu won’t hurt Ryuko and Gamagoori is loyal to Satsuki.

I like Maiko and I hope we see her again, she is a good character.

Breastfeeding women, sure why not? i just had to point this out, just like the dogs banging in episode 2.

My favorite moment of the episode is Gamagoori on the cable car, it just kills me every time.

Kill La Kill Episode 3: Junketsu

I just want to say thank you to Studio Trigger for making this anime. I love this episode it was unreal! Just this episode alone, I am buying series once it could out in the USA.

We find out that Satsuki has a Goku uniform just like Ryuko. These uniforms are called Kamui. She put it on for the first time. Satsuki Kamui is called Junketsu and it has 2 eyes. Now Satsuki is ready for Ryuko tomorrow.

 We skip to Ryuko that following around Mikisugi, because she want information from him. They do meet and we learn about connect between him and Ryuko’s father. Mikisugi played the role of the person to make sure Ryuko gets Senketsu. Mikisugi worked with Ryuko’s father. Mikisugi also talks about the Life fiber and how much are in each level of suits. The more Life fibers the suits have the stronger they are. Now we skip to the sewing club trying to make a 5 star suit. the suit fails because they person wearing the suit can not control it. I believe this part will be important later.

Now we skip to the next day where Satsuki is waiting for Ryuko. This is where we get an awesome battle between the two characters. The point of this fight was to show Ryuko that she was wearing Senketsu wrong, because she has to be naked first. This is where we got a new transformation from Ryuko and where the fight real did remind me of Gurren Lagann, Ryuko keep pushing her limits and getting stronger. Satsuki after see Ryuko true power, she calls it a day. Then tell Ryuko if she wants to fight her she has to go through the whole school to get to her, because starting tomorrow. The students will be going after her.

So the next episode sounds awesome. I can’t wait but there one think after watching the opening again, who is this guy???

Kill La Kill Episode 2: So Sexy, I’m Gonna Faint.

What am I watching, Kill La Kill is really something else and everyone should be watching this show. It is really good.

This episode starts off right where the last one ended. Ryuko’s has to leave because if she keeps of fighting she would faint due do the Goku taking too much of her blood. She faints after leaving the school and wakes up with Mako’s family.  We learn that Mako dad is a back ally doctor.

We also learn the name of Ryuko’s Goku, Senketsu and what happen during the time she got attack by him, under her house. We also learn the Senketsu was made by Ryuko’s father.  

Skip to the next day where we see two dogs banging. Why, i wish i could answer that. it made me laugh.

We get few interesting points of how the structure of the city works, the top tier student live on the upper part of the city and the lower tier students live at the lower part of the city. This is where we meet the leader of the tennis club; she was given a 2 star uniform to beat Ryuko. Ryuko try to get senketsu to wake up, but it would not work. This is where we meet Aikuro Mikisugi (the homeroom teacher), for some reason we get a strip show from him. Mikisugi give Ryuko a glove that will make senketsu wake up.

We get round 2 with Ryuko and the Tennis leader, this fight was very original again, but ending where we get see a taste of Satsuki power and her sword. To me it does not look like a scissor.

Points

You don’t need a Goku uniform to be strong, Satsuki power comes from her sword and herself?

Why is Ryuko an exchange student if, to me looks like she lives in the same town, or did she live outside of 

town.

Are they always going to beat mako in each episode?

this show has fan service for both guys and girls

Kill La Kill Episode 1: If Only I Had Thorns Like a Thistle

Kamina’s spirit reborn.   That what comes to mind as I watch the first episode of Kill la Kill. Ryuko reminds me of Kamina just madder. Overall I did like this anime and I thought it was funny.  I like how the animation reflects Gurren Lagann and they try to have a Grant scale as Gurren Lagann.  They did make an interesting world for the most part.

The story is pretty simple, it’s a revenge story.  Ryuko Matio lost her father from an unknown killer. The Killer took half of a scissor blade and she has the other half. This leads her to the Honnoji Academy where we meet most of the cast.  As the story goes on Ryuko Matio, believes the person that has the other scissor blade is Satsuk Kiryuin the Student council president.

The powers in Kill la Kill are not from weapons or mechs, but from Uniforms called Goku.  Very original idea and I got into it. The Uniforms the broken down to 3 star levels the more stars a Uniforms has the stronger the uniforms is.  You could say it the uniforms are just like the mechs in Gurren Lagann, and the main character has a special one. Matio’s uniforms did look like it absorbs the loser uniform at the end of the fight.

Points

The villain structure was much like Gurren Lagann, Leader 4 generals and army, just in a school theme.

The fight of overall well done, and awesome.

I did not like Mako, she talk too much and way too fast.

Matio’s Goku transform into a very skimpy sailor suit, I guess all anime need some kind of fan services.

Is the homeroom teacher a friend of Matio father?

I like this episode and I can’t wait for the next one.

Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods

The Dragonball Z battle of God was sub not too long ago and I decided to watch it. I enjoy this movie, it’s the not greatest DBZ movie, but it’s good and very nostalgic for me. It was awesome see everyone again. Everyone does fight in this movie.  Seeing Mystic Gohan and Saiyaman was my favourite part in the movie. if you are a fan of DBZ  check this movie out you will not be disappointed.

The overall story of movie is pretty simple Bills wake up has a dream about Super Saiyan God, this makes Bills go to Earth to find this Super Saiyan God.  This leads to most of the funny moments of the movie, until Goku shows up and fights Bills. Bills design is very original, and it fits for the style of DBZ. He is one of the most goof villains, and most powerful too. Very care free until he gets annoyed.

I really enjoy this movie and they did left it open for make more movies. I personally would like to see a new movie every 2 to 3 year adding on to this story of Gods. I think this has a lot of potential to end DBZ is a very original way. Check it out I left a link to the trailer and to the movie below.

!!!!!Super Saiyan God Mode Theory, Spoiler!!!!

In the movie Goku needed 5 Saiyans to go SSG (Super Saiyan God Mode), but I believe that we only got a taste of SSG and Goku only gone SSG for only 10 to 15 minutes, so I think it was more of a Super Saiyans power up, not the next level.  Remember the time when Vegeta think he has gone SS in the fight with Frieza, but he was just strong. I think it’s just Akira Toriyama teasing us. He has done it before, and SSG was the main focus of the movie and we only got 10 to 15 minutes of it? So I think there is more to be seen

Shaman King Volume 9 Voyage of the Shaman

Chapter 72 to 80

This volume had few cool fights, one of the most action packed volumes so far and a very cool beginner to a new adventure.

The volumes start off with Yoh Freeing Ren and Jun. Ren tells Yoh why he needs to defeat his father. So they make their way to Ryu and Horohoro. Ryu and Horohoro got there ass handed then by this new Zombie. This zombie is Sha-wen, Bilong’s Master (we met him in volume 2). Sha-wen gave Ren and Yoh a hard time, until Bilong and Jun come in and kick his ass. This fight was awesome I do like Bilong Fighting style. Bilong and Jun beat Sha-wen and they make their way to Yuan at the top of the tower.

Yuan comes crashing down right in front of Yoh and the other; this is where the fight begins. Yuan is a big man. Ryu and Horohoro each cut off Yuan’s arms. Then Yuan regenerate his arm and counter attacks. Yuan goes on a rampage beating Yoh Bilong, Ryu and Horohoro, leaving Ren alone. Ren attack with his rapid strike and rip Yuan body apart, and then he would regenerate and counter. Each time he beat Ren and his Friends down they would just get back up. Showing him that friends are not what makes him weak but stronger. Yuan does not understand and this is why Yuan loses at the end. Ren and the guys did not really beat him the physical, but in spiritly. This is where the big Yuan breaks into hundreds spirit flames and we see Ren Father true form. This is the first time Ren and Jun see his true form. He look even scary than before.

Yuan uses his ultimate attack (dragon with all of his ancestor’s spirit flames), Ren gets a new over soul. Ren grandfather and mother stop Yuan and this ends the fight. We learn about why Yuan is the way he is and it very understandable, because he has been betrayed by his so called friends. This is the end of this story Ren goes and trains before the next round. Yoh, Ryu, Horohoro and Manta go back to japan. Ren is riding his horse and his father shows up and gives him Baolei sword there family’s most precious heirloom. Yuan also said good luck too Ren, leaving on good terms.

This is how the Arc about Ren family ends and I enjoy it, we learned a lot of Ren and his family. Yuan design was very cool.

The last few chapters has Horohoro Yoh and Ryu say goodbye to their loved ones, because they cannot come with them to the next round. Yoh Horohoro and Ryu meet Ren at the meeting place and this is where we see A LOT of new characters.

(Shaman's part 1) (Shaman's part 2)

We meet Hao, and his spirit (fire spirit). He shows off his power and he has a crew with him, the only members that we have seen before are the Boz brother from the last volume. He tells Yoh and the others that he will become the next shaman king and this starts a fight and this guy is strong. Hao looks like Yoh, and Hao knows a lot about everyone, it’s very weird. How does he know this?

After this little fight we see Goldva and the other patch members and a big jet. They tell everyone to get on and the rest of the shaman fight with be held in the USA at the Patch village. So they do. Hao knew what was going to happen on this flight. During the Flight just over the USA, Goldva comes on and tell all of the Shamans that they have 3 months to find the Patch village. Then the plane disappears and everyone starts to fall. Now everyone beside Yoh Ren Ryu and Horohoro just used their Spirits to fall to the ground. Yoh and his crew had to use all of their mana to land safely and this is where the volume ended. yoh and his crew does not know where they are or where they have to go, but this will be interesting to see what will happen next.

Shaman King Volume 8 The Road To The Tao Stronghold

Chapter 63 to 71

Yoh and the Gang

Many good things happen in the Volumes. It has a lot of fights and interesting foreshadowing too. This continues where the last one left off. Ren preparing his last attack and Yoh know he cannot beat Ren with his over soul as it is now. Yoh decide to copy Ren and put all of his mana into his over soul. Yoh has never done this before and did not know he could. He does and Amidamaru’s full upper body appeared and the Two Shaman Clash knowing whoever wins goes to next round.

Once the dust clears and Ren thinks he has lost, because he did not have any mana left and when he looks over Yoh also out of mana. Silva comes down and tells them they lose their over soul at the same time so it was a draw. The Chief (Goldva) comes in and tells them that both made it to the next round. The open ceremony started right after, we see a lot of different faces and Goldva tell everyone, the next round will start in 1 month time. Goldva said an interesting thing. He said “you will never return to your normal lives again”. What will happen to everyone in the next round?

After the opening ceremony Yoh and the gang had a party, but this is Shaman only, Ren and Yoh become friends and once the party was ending Ren left to deal with him father. After the party, life return to normal, Yoh and Anna go back to school and the shaman fight seem like a dream.

One day Yoh and Tamao go shopping for Anna and this is where we meet Boz Rocking Monks. They attack Yoh and take Amidamaru from Yoh. Their plan was to take out Yoh before the next round started, and it almost work if it was not Ryu. Ryu comes back to town, and he is a Shaman. Tokageroh as his ally and they beat the Boz brothers. We also learn that Ryu is in the Shaman King Fight, he won two matches as he was training with Yoh’s Grandfather. Before the Boz bothers they said “Master Hoa”, and then we get a pretty cool panel.Is this Hoa?

The last Few Chapters is what made the chapter for me. Ren is back home and Yuan has an Army of Zombie waiting for him. Ren and Bason rip through the Army pretty easily then Yuan Appear, Ren could not beat him, he does not know what his power is, and all of Rens attacks did nothing to him. Ren was grounded as a prisoner, with Jun. As a last hope Bason go to Yoh for help and tell what happen to Ren. Yoh and the Gang go on the next flight to china.

Yuan was been watching Yoh as they got to China and once they make it to the tao stronghold they are greeted with 5 super zombie. This is where we see Ryu and Horohoro show off their new over soul and moves. (Horohoro is just getting cooler and cooler to me) Ryu and Horohoro took down two of the super zombie pretty easily I was surprise.  The Volume ended with Yoh and Ren facing each other. Ren and chained up.

Hunter x Hunter : Phantom Rouge Movie Sub

I just watch Phantom Rouge the movie was ok, nothing epic. It was just a good movie. The animation was awesome and the story line was good. Gon made the movie for me. I really hope hunter x hunter manga returns soon, because all we got this year was those two chapters about Kurapika past.

Shaman King Volume 7 Clash At The Mata Cemetery

Chapter 54  to 62

It’s about time for the last match of first round of the Shaman king Tournament, winner take all. Yoh has 1 win and 1 lose and Ren has only 1 win, after this match Ren won’t have anyone else to fight, so let’s get into the review.

Right off the bat we meet Ren Father (Yuan) the leader of the Tao Clan talking to Jun. we learn about why he wants Ren to fight in this Tournaments and it’s to restore his clan rightful place in China. During the talk Yuan is petting a panda and killed it in front of Jun (I really enjoy that). Ren’s Father Told Jun they need the power of the Great Spirit and they will do anything to get it. He tells Jun to use his army of zombie to make sure Ren wins and these new zombies are stronger than Bailong.

Yuan is a very large man and his overall design is pretty cool, I just hope he is as strong as he seems.The next few chapters are just build up, and what is everyone thinking about before this last fight. I am surprise to see Manta at this fight with Yoh after what happen with Foust. Ren appears on his Horse and Cape looking like a boss. Yoh and Ren have change a lot from there last fight, Ren has gotten taller and Yoh has increased his mana. Then the Fight begins Ren starts off the Fight using his over soul that is pretty much a ball of armor around his spear.  Yoh block the first few attacks. Ren change his over soul by putting more mana into his spear. The over soul has change from a ball of armor into Bason upper body. So Yoh has to dodge more than a Blade, he has to dodge the arms too.

This is where Silva examples how the shaman fight really works. Each shaman has a pool of mana for this example I am using 100. To use an over soul they most use a bit of the mana. So let’s say to use an over soul they must use 20 of their mana to create an over soul so there pool of mana is now 80 (100- 20 = 80). Once an over soul is broken. They must use more mana to make a new over soul, so another 20 (80- 20 = 60) until they are completely out of mana. They also talk about GP I believe this is Ghost Power so this would be Amidamaru and Bason.

As the fight goes on Yoh and Ren each break each other’s over soul and Yoh just being Yoh has been pushing Ren, until Ren get angry enough to use  Bason Horse spirit and I did not know that shaman could use more than one spirit at a time, so we could see Yoh get more ghost just like Silva. Ren put everything he has into this attack. This is where the Volume ends with Ren going all over at Yoh.

We also see every shaman that won the first round like Foust and Horohoro and many more watching this match, waiting to see how it ends. Once it ends the Cheif will be talking to everyone that made it so far.

Both Fullmetal Alchemist Series on Netflix

You can now watch Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood and Fullmetal Alchemist The Sacred Star of Milos all on netflix. This is awesome news and i am a big fan of both series. I like brotherhood more than the original FMA, because it follows the manga and I think the execution is must better. If you have not watched any of these, you should they now are amazing series.

I would like to see more anime on Netflix, because it a great outlet and a easy way to get access anime legally.

I just watch The Sacred Star of Milos in Sub and I like it. It was a good movie and it has interest character and an ok twist, a lot of action.  I would enjoy it more if it was in dub.

Shaman King Volume 6 Road Trip to Izumo

Chapter 45 to 53

This volume was ok at best a lot of development for Yoh and manta. This volume continues from the last volume with Yoh and Faust fighting. Yoh ask “why you are like this” and Faust answer by a flash back. The Flash back cover how Faust was young and fell in love with a sick girl, cured her and they got marry. One night a robber came into his house and killed Eliza. This is how she got the bullet in the skull. He learns Faust wants to become shaman king to bring back the dead, and Yoh does not agree with Faust beliefs. Faust puts all of his mana into Eliza and Eliza charges at Yoh. Yoh puts all what he has left into one swing and they clash. Yoh cut off Eliza Legs, but Yoh lost his over soul.  Yoh lose and his first lost over all. The lost it hits him hard. Faust gets enraged that Yoh smashed Eliza’s legs. Faust wants to kill Yoh.  Faust uses all of his mana to create a HUGE skeleton. Silva rushes in, but Ren saved Yoh. Ren turns the skeleton into dust.

Ren saved Yoh, because he will be fighting Yoh in the next fight, in 3 months’ time. We do not know if Ren won or lose his matches, but this will be an interesting fight, because Yoh need a win and Ren wants to beat Yoh.

After the match we are at the Hospital. Manta and Yoh are both recovering. This is where we meet Manta family and found out why he studies so much. It’s because of this father; Manta’s Father is a CEO of an electronics company that one day Manta will run. his father tell Manta  that he will be going to the USA to study, Manta did not agree with him and went to go see Yoh, in the Hospital. Yoh is depressed about the lost, but mostly Manta got hurt. Once manta got into Yoh room this is where Yoh tell Manta that it was his fault that he lost. Manta is pretty much heart broken and ran away. Yoh made a decision, he needs to get stronger, so to do this he need to go back home to Izumo.

When Yoh is at Izumo and he talks to his grandpa. His grandpa tells Yoh if he wants to increase his mana he will need to die and come back. To do this he will need to enter this cave and stay in the cave for 7 days and that is what Yoh did.

During the 7 days Manta had a lot of time to think about what happen and has to make a decision, do what his father wants to do or learn more about Yoh. At the airport, he decided that he want to learn more about Yoh. Lucky for him, he sees Ryu and they talk and go on a road trip to see Yoh at Izumo. On the way to Izumo we learn a lot about Ryu and Manta once they get to Izumo they are greeted by a girl name Tamao (very cute design) and her two spirits Ponchi and Conchi that reminds me of Ren and Stimpy, they have a very entertaining fight with a lot of jokes. The fight ends with Anna tell then that we are all going to go see Yoh, so they go to the cave and wait for him Tamao use her shaman powers to find Yoh, and in no time Yoh comes out.

Yoh has become stronger just by the look of his new over soul it goes up his arm, to me it looks like the more mana a shaman has the more there over soul looks like the spirit and now Amibamaru can talk in his over soul.

Yoh and manta had a talk and they became friends again

In the last chapter in of this volume focus most about Ren and his reason why he want to be shaman king. He wants to be shaman king to stop this cycle of hatred that his family has for 1800 years, even if it means to destroy his family.  We also learn that Bason has service the Tao family in life and death, and is pretty loyal to Ren and believe in what he wants to do.

This Volume had a lot of information and I enjoy it for the most part, I still think Faust is awesome and I can't wait to see more of him. The next Volume will be pretty entertaining because we have Yoh vs Ren round two and Yoh needs to win this.
